
What to expect
As this is the first year of Hindley Fest we understand there may be things you need to know, so hopefully all will be covered for you below. If not feel free to contact us via our email or social media accounts.
Entertainment
We have one main stage at Hindley Fest where all of the entertainers will perform from. We have a fantastic selection of Tribute Acts, Local Artists and Special guests to entertain you throughout the weekend. There is also a Fun Fair on site supplied by Silcocks Fairs.
Food & Drink
You are not permitted to bring drinks onto site other than a 500ml bottle of water unopened (there will be access to a tap to refill if you require.) Or baby milk.
You may bring a small picnic but no liquids (other than baby milk or a bottle of water). No glass to be brought onto site.
We have a fantastic selection of food vendors on site to purchase food from throughout the day. Including Smash Burgers, Pizza, Curry, Brownies, Cakes and an Ice Cream Van.
There are 3 licensed bars on site with a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which can be purchased using cash or card.
You must be over 18 to purchase or consume alcohol on site and so we will be implementing a strict challenge 25 policy, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 please bring ID.
Seating etc
You may bring your own ‘fold-up’ chairs. No tables/tents will be allowed on site, but you can bring a picnic blanket. No parasols or wind breaks to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the event.
Getting Here
The address is Leyland Park, Park Road Hindley. WN2 3SB
We recommend using public transport there are various bus routes or trains via Hindley Train Station.
We will have our transport partners Veezu stationed at the market car park on Frederick Street for pick ups and drop offs. Also they will be available for pick ups from Hindley Train Station.
No parking on Park Road, please adhere to the road markings around the local area and be respectful to local residents.
If you are driving to Hindley Fest we have a large car park close by. This is in a field and so may not be suitable for sports cars or vehicles low to the ground. Parking is £5 per day and at the owners own risk. There will be clear directions and signage to the car park over the festival weekend.

Family Friendly
It is a ticketed event with various pricing options, and attendees under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Responsible adult will be asked to write their phone number on their child’s wristband. No dogs are allowed on the site.
What time do gates open & close?
Gates open at 11.30am with music from 12pm last entry is 6pm and the event will close at 9pm Saturday and 8pm Sunday.
